Requesting Copies of Documents from a Court File:
Pursuant to Wis. Statute, the Clerk of Courts charges a fee of $1.25 per page for copies of official court documents. Copies can be certified (stamped as official copies) for an additional $5.00 per each document.
1. In Person: You may view a paper file or an electronic file. If you do not know the case number, there are public access computers available for you to search the case number. If you are unable to find your case number, a $5.00 search fee will be charged.
2. By Phone: Call the Clerk of Courts at 920-386-3570. You will need the case number or the name(s) of the party and specific document information that you are requesting. The clerk will make arrangements with you for payment and delivery of the documents.
3. By Fax or Mail: Send a written request to the Clerk of Courts office. Please be specific - include the case number and the specific document(s) that you are requesting (name of document, date of filing etc). Please provide a phone number where you can be reached to discuss payment and delivery arrangements.

Please be specific - include the case number and the specific document(s) that you are requesting (name of document, date of filing etc). Requesting Copies of a Transcript
A transcript is a verbatim (word for word) typed record of what happened in court for a particular hearing or proceeding. You will need the case number and the specific date of the hearing.
1. For proceedings that were before a Circuit Court Judge, Branches 1-4, contact the court reporter for that court official. Please see the 'Circuit Courts' page for information
2. For proceedings that were before the Court Commissioner, Branch 5, please contact the Clerk of Courts office at 920-386-3570 or mail in your request at the address above.
Requesting a Digital Audio Recording
1. For proceedings that were before a Circuit Court Judge, Branches 1-4, contact the court reporter for that court official. Please see the 'Circuit Courts' page for information.
2. For proceedings that were before the Court Commissioner, Branch 5, please contact the Clerk of Courts office at 920-386-3570 or mail in your request at the address above. Copies of a digital audio recording are copied to a thumb drive. The fee is $10.00 per recording.
