Dodge County Public Health investigates reported animal bites. This is a critical step in protecting the public from the risk of rabies, a serious and potentially fatal disease.

If you’ve been bitten by an animal—or witnessed someone else being bitten—please use the form below to report the incident. Our staff will follow up promptly to determine next steps, including possible quarantine of the animal and any medical recommendations for the person who was bitten.
