Chief Deputy Chad Enright began his career with the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office in 2002 and brings over 22 years of dedicated law enforcement experience within the county. He served as a corrections officer from 2002 to 2006, a patrol deputy from 2006 to 2011, a K9 handler from 2011 to 2015, and a patrol lieutenant from 2013 to 2018. During these roles, he gained extensive experience as a K9 handler, a member of the SWAT Team, and supervisor of the 3rd shift patrol team. Additionally, he was responsible for managing the agency’s fleet, equipment, and the county fair security plan. In 2018, he was promoted to Operations Captain, where he oversaw the Patrol Division, Criminal Investigation Division/Drug Task Force, Communications Division, Crash Investigation Team, SWAT Team, and numerous other critical agency operations. In 2023, he was promoted to Chief Deputy/Undersheriff.

Chief Deputy Enright holds an Associate degree in Criminal Justice from Moraine Park Technical College and graduated from the Fox Valley Technical College Police Academy. He is a Certified Public Manager and has completed the UW Madison Wisconsin Command College program, as well as the Leadership in Police Organizations program through the Wisconsin Department of Justice. His additional law enforcement experience includes three years of service as the part-time Chief of Police for the Village of Clyman Police Department. With extensive training in leadership, management, investigations, corrections, and public records, Chief Deputy Enright provides both valuable perspective and strong leadership in his role. He is a 1997 graduate of Horicon High School.
