| Concern for operations falsifying cattle numbers to fall under cafo and not willing to follow cafo rules. There are many dairy farms in the county who lie to NRCS about their cattle numbers. |
Please incorporate UW-Madison's Wisconsin Initiative on Climate Change Impacts (WICCI) strategies into the updating of the 10 year Land and Water Resource Management Plan. |

| Don't complete this and allow it to sit on a shelf. Have a public presentation to the county board. Have a committee review outcomes and come up with realistic, specific objectives, and have the full county board vote on the recommendations. |
I think it is very important for the county to communicate to the people of Dodge County about the status of water and soil quality and related trends. Citizens should be advised on what they can do to help improve water and soil quality. |
| I am a dairy farmer and soil health advocate. I use soil health practices on thousands of acres every year. I am still learning every day and every year. I know these practices are paying off now and will only continue to do so into the future. The more people that do these practices the more others will find it acceptable and viable and will be willing to implement them on their own farms. |
Our subdivision has a terrible issue with water run off especially with melting snow and alot of rain it comes from a farmers field thru 2 subdivisions under hwy 33 over the golf course and into the lake all the chemicals going into the lake no wonder the lake is awful |
| I'm not sure exactly what the Land and Water Conservation does in practice aside from set rules so really can't comment on these questions.. in road construction. .plastic markers used on the edges...don't seem to bio degrade..utilities and cable use wire flags to mark lines..they are never picked up..wire and plastic flag lays on the ground..road workers throw non bio degradable containers on the ground and eventually bury them..not really land and water use but and does affect them both |
