Dodge County Land and Water Conservation Department can provide engineering assistance and cost sharing for conservation practices that will help reduce sediment and phosphorous runoff. Conservation practices that reduce sediment and phosphorous runoff will help landowners meet the NR151 performance standards. Cost share rates range from 50-70% up to $10,000 depending on which conservation practice is used.
Dodge County's Land and Water Plan (see below) contains background information, identifies resource concerns, lists goals and objectives, and identifies methods to reduce sediment and phosphorous runoff in the County.
